Welcome to ReplyBunker. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have concerning it.
2. YouTube Data API & Google User Data
ReplyBunker uses the formal YouTube Data API services to fetch your video comments and post replies on your behalf. By using the ReplyBunker application, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
What Google data we access:
- Channel Information: Your YouTube Channel ID, Display Name, and Profile Picture to display inside your ReplyBunker dashboard.
- Video Content: Titles, Descriptions, and Public Statistics (Views/Likes) to provide context to the AI model.
- Comments: The text, commenter name, and timestamp of public comments on your videos.
3. Sensitive Scopes & Limited Use Disclosure
ReplyBunker requests access to the following sensitive scope(s):
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl: This scope is required to allow the application to publish your approved responses directly to your YouTube videos. We use this permission only to post replies that you have explicitly reviewed and approved within the dashboard.
ReplyBunker's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. How We Use and Share Your Data
The YouTube data collected is used strictly to provide the core AI reply drafting service. We do not sell your personal data or your YouTube data to any third parties.
Team Access Disclosure: If you add a Manager to your channel, that user will have the ability to view your channel name, synced comments, and drafted replies for that specific channel. We do not share your private account email or billing details with Managers.
In the process of generating replies, comment text and video descriptions are securely transmitted to our trusted Large Language Model (LLM) providers (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI) solely for the purpose of generating text drafts. These third-party models do not retain your data for training purposes.
5. Revoking Access
You can revoke ReplyBunker's access to your YouTube account at any time via your Google Account's security settings page: Google Security Settings. Upon revocation, we will no longer be able to fetch comments or post on your behalf.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Retention Period: We retain your profile data, synced comments, and drafted replies in our secure database for as long as your account is active. This allows you to view historical data and manage your replies efficiently.
Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data directly from your account settings. Once requested:
- Your tokens and personal information are immediately restricted.
- All associated records (conversations, drafts) are permanently erased from our production databases within 30 days.
Anti-Abuse Retention: To prevent misuse (e.g., promotional credit abuse), we maintain a permanent record of the unique identifiers (YouTube Channel IDs) that have been managed by our system. This is limited to the identifier only and is used solely for fraud prevention and credit tracking. This record is held separately and is NOT subject to the 30-day erasure policy to ensure system integrity.
7. Security & Data Protection
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- Encryption at Rest: Highly sensitive information, such as your Google OAuth access and refresh tokens, is encrypted using AES-256-CBC encryption.
- Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS) encryption.
- Access Controls: System access is strictly limited to authorized personnel with strong authentication.
